I was asked to do the art for Shawn Anthony's EP "Beautiful Life," the single from which plays during the closing credits of the most recent episode of Entourage. I did not see the episode, but I am taking Google's word for it. This job wins the award for the shortest deadline yet, clocking in at just over 2 hours. Ha!
Thanks to a tip-off from Charlie about Juxtapoz's generosity with bandwidth, you can find my work on the front page of their website TODAY! Really looks like I kinda might be in the magazine, huh? Well it's actually a trick of the eye known as the reader art section but hey, potatoes/potat... -ohs.
If you are in Rhode Island, get yourself a fresh hot copy of the Newport Mercury and flip around until you see a drawing of the Underdog ballon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I drew that. Sweet.
Tomorrow I am going back to Massachusetts for Thanksgiving. I can't wait to see trees again.

I was lucky enough to have been flown out to L.A. this past weekend for the premier of Mike Manning's "A Work of Art" at Cella Gallery, where I was also showing some drawings I did for the film. It was a super night and I met a lot of swell people! Thanks to Mike for having me involved and to Lauren for being an amazing host and a supportive friend when I choked on a fly in front of the Hollywood sign.
Perhaps those who know me will find it predictable then that given the overall hitch-free and enjoyable nature of the trip, I did leave my wallet, phone and keys somewhere in Hollywood the morning of my return flight. Thanks to the lovely people who bought some of my pieces the night before as well as some divine, unprecedented miracle, I happened to have my I.D. and enough cash in my pocket to get myself to LAX and back to New York.
Of course, this still leaves me without cellular communication or access to my bank account or home. I am dealing with this by telling myself that my things will turn up in Lauren's car (where I have been assured they are not), and that in the meantime this predicament will lead to many rich adventures (it won't). For now, you can contact me via email or telekinesis.

Hooray! Here's a new clearing full of crystal-bundles for PlanAdvisor Magazine.
It has been frigid lately and I need new shoes. Shoepac will not be able to endure the winter, this much is clear to me know. I may have to replace him with some kind of boot. : [

Hello. Several points of discussion are in order.
+ House-warming party this weekend = come
+ Painting zebra stripes on the walls
+ Interning at Pamplemousse Press
+ Crystal-encrusting pears with Exhibitology
+ Still working on art for Drive Like Maria's new album and then The States
+ L.A. November 7 - 10
But wow, guess what! After all the pears are encrusted with crystals, you can totally still hire me because I have yet to procure that neat part-time job I've been looking for all day every day!
If you are still trying to think of a clever way to employ me, here are some ideas. I could:
+ paint your walls - solid colors, shapes, patterns, text, or other stuff (piles of eggs?)
+ assist you in your busy artist studio.
+ draw a gnarly and honest portrait of your family and/or beloved family pet, car, or house.
+ work at your print shop, record store, puppy play house or vegetable stand.
+ continue to paint whatever I want, and you could want to buy the paintings from me.
+ test milkshakes for you, to make sure they are alright.
+ I can also tie shoes, speak some Spanish, make awesome scrambled-eggs, sew, and walk.

Been wall-paintin' with Colin. My days are typically divided between this endeavor, scouring Craigslist for some semblance of a worthwhile part-time job, thinking of the best way to bulk-order tyvek jumpsuits, and drawing a giant donut-mountain bleeding frosting. More on that... some other time.
On Tuesday, Jing and I went grocery shopping at Trader Joe's, where the food is relatively cheap and everyone is extremely, extremely happy. Subsequently, I scalded the roof of my mouth on a piece of hot sandwhich that I made with my purchased food items.

Sunset 4 u.
Yesterday Charlie and I set off for Salvation Army in search of a small bookcase for my room. We ended up walking from Union Square to Times Square and back to Union again without getting a bookcase, but ending up instead with a VHS of Trainspotting and a box full of gaudy gold buttons.
I just finished a bunch of drawings for Mike Manning's film "A Work of Art." The drawings are for a scene at Cella Gallery in North Hollywood. I can't wait to see the finished film, it should be sweet!
Also, if you are in Narragansett this fall you should stop in at the OneWay Gallery on your way to Crazy Burger and check out the Vicious Landscape show! The opening is Friday the 26th, from 7-9 pm. The Hunt should be hanging around there somewhere, and throughout the course of the fall you may also happen upon a bunch of my hydrocrack and gun prints, and even the big, gouache, pixel-rainbow piece that I titled something too long to write down without embarassing myself.

Salutations from our place on the Morgan stop! (see above)
I have been subsisting on raisins, peanut butter, beer, and a gallon of ice that I drink as it melts. We have sealed every crack in our apartment to prevent the entrance of bugs.
Right now I am looking out our huge window at other lofts and a little blimp against the edge of a sunset. Groover and Tiger Power are doing well, and Charlie arrives on Friday. We are currently welcoming all visitors, and can now proudly offer several seating options in the living room area.
In other news, arting soon begins for Drive Like Maria's new release.
It sounds amazing... I'm super excited about this one. Belgium should be too. You should all be excited. Excitement for everyone.
