This time when I pointed out that Risi's package store looked vacated and had a "STORE CLOSED" sign in the window, my mom explained that the building was going to be flattened and the whole "lot" (a vast expanse of green meadow streching between us and the detestable mall) developed. GLOOM!!!!!! The world of my dusty, barefoot childhood is being buldozed to make way for shopping centers and housing developments. Preston goes bigger than Big, keeps it way more "real" than Richie Rich and is totally cooler than First Kid, though this movie really begs for a sweet Macaulay / Sinbad pairing. However, after further analysis we can conclude that if this had happened, there would have been no point in making any movies at all after that.
